I came home and found a support envelope in our mail today. The letter was from the family we bought our house from, who have 4 young daughters. Upon opening the envelope, I saw a check for $233 dollars. While being a VERY generous donation, $233 seemed like a strange number. I then pulled out a note from the family, which read...
"We keep track of the money the girls tithe from gifts, etc, through the year(s), and then, when the right opportunity arises, they give it - so this money is their support of you :)"
We feel so honored that they chose to give this money this money to support us. It's experiences like this one that make this challenge meaningful to us.
That is really cool!
